Le Club 55 is, to say the least, a household name in and around the fashionable French town of St. Tropez, while it is quite a bit of a drive from the heart of St. Tropez to Club 55 (which actually belongs to the town of Ramatuelle). So: find a Bob or pay 30 euros for a taxi. This understanding is certainly not without reason: Le Club Cinq and Cinq is a beach club like it is. Lots of white and wood, (hanging) seats here and there and light dishes on the menu. Although to be honest, I don't understand those gigantic bowls of raw carrots and cauliflower that many women find 'delicious' and that are on almost every table here. While there is also a truly delicious steak tartare on the menu. But you don't do that here, no, at Le Club 55 you order a crudite. I digress. The club is not exactly cheap, but that is not the case in this area, so I would like to opt for the following: if you go, go just after lunch and dive with an artichoke with a delicious mustard-like dipping sauce (also green so very acceptable) and An Cotes de Provence rosé at the bar.
