Cool Cape Town: Lady Loch Guest House in Wellington, South Africa

But we think the best thing about Wellington is its presence Lady Loch Guest House. A B&B plus with a view of the aforementioned far-reaching and beautiful vineyards (inside and out) and the surrounding mountain range, the Bainskloof Pass.

Once inside you will see: It Lady Loch Guest House is big! It offers space for about 23 people, each of whom can claim a different room in pairs. And being able to jump into the pool alone at the same time! That is also huge. You can easily plunge into it with all your friends or family at the same time. And the view is fantastic. All in all, the tip for those looking for a place for a large group (wedding, anyone?). That said, it's just the two of us here the bomb (bomb!). If you want to retreat here in Wellington, don't forget the home spa. It is indoors and the massage here is phenomenal. We tested – someone has to do it, right?

After breakfast, before you set off in search of the best wineries, this massage (or one of the other treatments) is the best way to start your day. Or of course after all those wine tastings. Admittedly: even tastier.

From the resort it is about a fifteen minute drive to the Paarl wine region where one of our favorite wineries is located (in fact it is the favorite of everyone who has ever been to the area): Babylonstoren. Thirty minutes drive and you are in historic Stellenbosch. Above all, the Dutch owners of Lady Loch are happy to think along with you (that is a gift in itself): there are plenty of tips on how to best organize your day! You will already get the best tips for the area at the extensive breakfast buffet - with freshly baked bread from the oven. About that breakfast: it's delicious. And you can choose: sit inside or go for a picnic-style breakfast in the large garden? Or would you prefer on your own terrace? Where you can also light the braai later in the day. Bam.

In short: Go! A few days of relaxing in Wellington will do you good. Plus: the swimming pool at Lady Loch Guest House is the perfect place to relax during your chill holiday (because that's what you have to do). Cool Cape Town by Bartsboek (see www.coolcapetown.com, hot off the press) to take a moment to relax.
