The Bakkerswinkel Amsterdam (specifically the one on Roelof Hartstraat)
What? Haven't we already talked about the Bakkerswinkel in Amsterdam? That is a mistake, no, a big mistake because we like to come there a lot. The one in the Red Light District is close to our HQ and the address for the best scones, we go to the one in the Westerpark for an early (because dog and child) weekend breakfast and the one in South, on the Roelof Hartstraat is, well, simply PHENOMENAL when it comes to the tastiest take out of the moment, everything is homemade.
In addition, some extra love for the hard workers in this branch, Koen and Irma. Koen runs the kitchen (he bakes the scones and cakes) and Irma is the face to the guests. Scones and cake, yes, but don't forget those other delicious dishes: toasted sandwiches of the day, which are always delicious, surprising and extremely generously topped. Or the salads, which we really can't get enough of. But make sure you save room for dessert! The delicious cakes and the even tastier scones with of course… lemon curd will make your mouth water. You can now take all of the latter with you, just like delicious coffee. Quickly to the Roelof Hartstraat everyone!
