These are the most beautiful pillows (or so we think)
Do you know that? That you just feel like having one quick fix At home? It shouldn't cost too much money, it had to be cozy (because hello winter, hello Netflix evenings) and we would also like to be able to mix and match something with what we already have. A new rug on the floor can be a very good solution, but faster and cheaper is a game with cushions. We have already put together a shopping list for ourselves, and we are also sharing it with you here. The most beautiful pillows, voila, these are:
Oh yes, 'our' Willemijn has also listed her favorite pillows. Find it here!
Yes, of course our own pillows are at the top of the list! Own pillows? But yes: together with Atelier Pomme we made our own pillow line. It had to be a colorful intention, with numerous vintage prints that should be a party when all together, but can also shine alone. And so it happened. There are eight different cushions and they are best when you personalize them – Atelier Pomme style – with your own (or general) quote. A name, a slogan, a wish – you name it, we print it! Order here you are our pride for the sofa, bed or chair.
The Jungalow (just that name! Smullen) is the easy access label of the New York (with a permanent basis in Italy) Justina Blakeney. And not only that: it is also a blog and an online store. One of the most inspiring we know because finally color, prints, even more color and bold choices everywhere. And it works! Give us a house a la The Jungelow. The Dutch equivalent to The Jungalow, and equally inspiring on all fronts, has to be RA Interiors. Via instagram Reineke Antvelink (RA, aha) shares the beautiful houses that she decorates from A to Z. Oh yes: she sells the cushions separately. Send Reineke an email (address on the website) and then she responds. We think. And otherwise she occasionally hosts a wonderful sale: keep an eye on it for, in addition to cushions, lampshades and other greedy small items.
In any case, we are quite fond of the Amsterdam label Wolfware. Surprising easy access clothing and beautiful things for the home. If we have to describe Wolfware, we try to make it clear that the label is anything but standard, but that even people who do not necessarily have a very strong taste, or at least do not show off that, can probably completely identify with Wolfware. , while everything together is wonderfully colorful and distinct (just the way we like it, actually). We think that's great: being everyone's friend without being everyone's friend. Just take a look and you'll understand what we mean. Wolfware
You already know that we are fans of Palais. After all, we have talked about it before. AND how could it be otherwise: there is color, there are the most beautiful materials and everything is sustainable and produced with love for people and makers. Palais should certainly not be missing from our favorite cushions0 list. In fact, he should be number one. The cushions are beautiful, everything is hand-painted and embroidered. And they are also an ideal sustainable gift to give (or receive!) during the holidays. Two beautiful cushions on your sofa and you can imagine yourself in India or at Ell Fenn in Marakech. Just what the doctor ordered during these dark cold days.

The cushions from dear are a completely different style Fine Little Day. Here too, everything revolves around passion for craftsmanship, expression of the playful, hand-drawn lines that tell a story. All cushions are different, of course, but the patterns and designs are always based on Scandinavian nature. Beautiful, isn't it?
Also nice is the story behind the label: owner Elisabeth started it Fine Little Day in 2007. Not as a pillow brand but as a blog! Her snapshots from everyday life quickly caught the eye and the blog was noticed by major magazines such as Vogue Living, Lucky Magazine, Design Sponge, Apartment Therapy and the New York Times. One thing led to another, and Fine Little Day is the tangible result. The label stands for environmentally friendly products of high quality qualitative value. And not just pillows: they make everything from bedding, textiles, posters and fashion for young and old.
According to Pernille Stoltz, owner and founder of Madam Stoltz, 'Home Sweet Home' is always the starting point of every Stolz item. We immediately understand this as soon as we see the Stolz items. The different accessories each tell their own story and quickly make you feel completely at home. Delicious.
The Madam Stoltz collection consists of beautiful, high-quality products, designed in Denmark and manufactured by skilled Indian people. Pernille met them personally and they inspired her during her travels. The result? A beautiful collection of unique items. The accessories are stylish and characteristic. We absolutely love the velor cushions in all different shapes and colors. Relax on the couch this Christmas holiday, turn on the fireplace, add a glass of wine and never leave it again!
We certainly don't hide our love for the Dutch HK Living. No, no, we'd rather lay it out there. And what a dream the current cushion collection from HK Living is again! The warm colours, the rich fabrics and beautiful patterns. Everything is equally tempting and a dollop of something or other makes your sitting area or bedroom immediately cosy and homely.
HK Living is a Dutch brand founded by Emiel Hetsen and Sander Klaver. They founded the brand in 2009 and in 10 years the brand has grown into an international brand. Nice!
HK living brings back items that have been used in and around the house for centuries in a new design. Inspiration and ideas for new collections are taken from the past and given a new look. The unique products have the look of the past, but have the functionality of today. They use original shapes, pure materials and contemporary designs. HK living is also inspired by travel. From simplistic Japanese art or botanical influences from the South American Amazons to wild prints from Africa.
Another dream brand is Lorena Canals. Spanish this time. Ha! Founder Loren started in Barcelona in 1990 and specializes in soft, heavy, cuddly rugs for the baby, children's and living room. Nice, yes. Even nicer is the fact that they are there has recently added a cushion collection. We are happy with that. How beautiful the cushions are! We are particularly fans of the decorative cushion (the circle) with the fringes. All cushions are made of ECO cotton and are washable, which is also very nice and handy (hello kids in the house).
In any case, we become very happy when we see, hear, read, feel and smell that more and more interior brands are working on sustainability. Lorena Canals also attaches great importance to an eco-friendly production process and uses sustainable raw materials and auxiliary materials. The company itself ensures that no child labor is used in production.
At Bloomingville you can always find beautiful, affordable, high-quality cushions. This Scandinavian brand has a beautiful, unique style that you will recognize from thousands. Bloomingville combines high quality with vintage design. Hip, trendy and always stylish. For example, this beautiful square terracotta decorative cushion with an embroidered print on the front and a plain fabric on the back. Or the elongated oval cushion with fringes, we love it!
Driven by the passion to continuously make surprising changes to your home, the Danish Betina Stampe founded the Bloomingville brand in 2000. This quickly grew into a successful international brand. The products in our webshop all have a typical Bloomingville style – you can't miss it.
The FEST cushions are beautiful. They are durable (again, never boring) and are both timeless in design and trend following. Is that possible? Yes you can. Just look at FEST. The idea is that the pillows will also make you happy in the long term. The cushions often have pastel-like shades and beautiful geometric shapes.
FEST was founded by the Dutch Femke Furnée. Because she missed beautiful, affordable design products in the current market. She believed (and believes) that well-designed products can make people happy. High-end design accessible to a broad target group, that idea. De furniture collection is produced entirely in Europe - the majority even within the Netherlands. There is its own design team, but FEST regularly invites guest designers.
