We already said it, nice house. When you arrive you immediately fall in love with the white and azure blue exterior, and within an instant you will fall in love. Inside, the white and blue continues as usual. The wall is half filled with those Moroccan-like tiles. Can you guess which colors it comes from: white and blue, ha. A nice big bed, nice bathroom with everything you need. A spacious kitchen with a bar where you can start your morning morning coffee and in the evening you can go wild, or not, that is up to you. The interior in and around the house comes as much as possible from the village, #supportyourlocals. Or while you are already in love with the items in the house, check with the owners because it is possible that they will sell it to you and in this way support local shopkeepers, we like. 

Lagos is relaxed, we think, because of that hippie background, we like it. Plenty of cozy bars, small boutiques and street art. The center is compact with everything you need, no more, no less. What makes Lagos such a top location for your holiday is the mix between beach and city, something with... best of both worlds.  

Our most favorite beaches:

• Meia Praia, on the other side of the Ribeira de Bensafrim, a river that flows through Lagos. Via a pedestrian bridge you can reach the golden beach in about 20 minutes.
• Dona Ana, a picturesque beach just outside Lagos. Lots of green forest areas here, with a view over the beach from the beach picture-perfect place Ponta de Piedade.
