The beautiful building it houses Ett Hem Hotel It was built in 1910 as a private residence. Today it is a luxury hotel with just 12 rooms in a neighborhood just outside the city center where the staff understands service. It is chic yet comfortable and the hammam in the basement is irresistible.
Once you've checked in, you're not going anywhere for a while: a late breakfast in the sun-drenched, green conservatory, a lazy afternoon with home-made cake in the lounge decorated with contemporary and classic art and a long evening in the Swedish Hygge (a meeting casually) inspired living room where a wood stove is burning. Although the individual choices can be described as classic, the combination is Swedish cool at its best – you can't stop watching.

The hotel and its rooms are small but never claustrophobic. And Ett Hem, like Stockholm itself, is unprecedented classy, and at the same time classless. A home for everyone and a perfect picture created by Ilse Crawford, the interior stylist responsible for the interior of the Olde Bell in England, a number of branches of the SOHO House Group and several (beautiful) first class lounges in Asia.
