The Azores, a magical archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, officially belongs to Portugal, but feels like a world of its own. Menorca, Mallorca’s quiet little sister – yes, you read that right. It’s a bit less crowded here, but it’s just as beautiful! Take a nice walk along the bays or dive into the crystal clear water. Two tips you don’t want to miss: Cala Mitjana and Cala Macarella. In addition to the beaches, Menorca is a walker’s paradise, with paths through the green interior, past old watchtowers and ruins. Some chill with their handsome face on the beach, others walk around the island in their sports shorts. In the toe of the Italian boot, you’ll find Reggio Calabria, a charming seaside town. Stroll along the promenade with views of Sicily (and Mount Etna as a bonus), admire the beautiful Bronzi di Riace, and enjoy a gelato brioche – ice cream in a bun, because why not?
