Gamestate is the place to be for game enthusiasts and children's parties
Gaming at home, great fun! Playing a game of FIFA, driving off the rainbow road too often with Mario Kart or pressing all the buttons at once to find that one good move in Tekken: been there, done that. But it can be even more fun and enjoyable, and especially with more choice, if you go to a gaming hall. In comes Gamestate! Gamestate is a chain of gaming halls where you can play various classic and modern games. Fun for adults and children, because at Gamestate you will find the latest games and arcades to the old-fashioned Mario Kart and the always-good air hockey.
Gamestate can be found in eight different places in the Netherlands: Amsterdam, Breda, Eindhoven, Utrecht, Kerkrade, Mall of the Netherlands, Rotterdam and The Hague.
At Gamestate you buy a Playcard on which you can load game credit on location or online. This way you can play any game without hassle with money and coins. Of course it's about fun and participating is more important than winning, but anyone who is a bit competitive will agree that winning does make participating a lot more fun. Especially when you can also win prizes with it. Many games at Gamestate offer tickets as rewards, which you can exchange for prizes. The better you perform in a game, the more tickets you can win, and the bigger and more fun the prize!
All those screens sometimes really offer a solution. This also applies when a children's party is coming up, but you have no idea what to do with a bunch of hyperactive kids. Well, now it is! Children up to the age of thirteen are more than welcome at Gamestate to put their energy into the various games. For €9,99 per person they can play as much as they want for an hour, and for €14,99 an hour longer. The birthday boy or girl will receive a Gamestate cap and the guests can be treated to Pringles and a soft drink.
Older than thirteen and would you like to play games with a group? Of course that is possible too! With the regular package you play one hour for €19,99 and two hours for €29,99. Although you cannot win tickets when you buy a package, you will always receive a standard number of tickets (both kids and adults). So everyone can always figure something out. Plus: if you purchase a package, you get a 50% discount on your first drink. Or your can of Pringles, if you prefer. Ideal if you don't want to go out on the terrace again (alone), if it threatens to rain on Wednesday afternoon, but also especially if it is scorching hot outside (it is wonderfully cool at Gamestate!). In short, a game of old-fashioned and new-fashioned gaming: count us in!
To play games at Gamestate you have to get off your couch, but luckily you don't have to go very far. Gamestate has eight branches in the Netherlands and another seven in the rest of Europe. Also great fun during the holidays! The Gamestate in Antwerp, for example, is less than a 10-minute walk from favorite restaurant Graanmarkt 13If we can recommend a nice afternoon/evening combination.
