For everyone who doesn't want to choose – countryside glamping near London
Attention doubters and all-willers - You no longer have to choose between a city trip or a weekend in the countryside. Best of both worlds, because we have a nice list of country side campsites that are no further than a two-hour drive from London. Shop during the day, have brunch and grab a terrace to relax by your campfire or in your hot tub in the evening. The other way around is also possible - enjoy a lovely walk and explore the English countryside and then exchange your walking shoes for yourself smart shoes and an evening of eating and going out in London (at one of these places). To be honest, we don't dare say whether we would like to visit these glamping sites.

Nestled in a fairytale farm setting you will find Teal en Wigeon – two luxury glamping sites retreats van The Shepherd's Hide in Essex. If you choose Teal, you choose forests around you and a view of the mill pond. Wigeon looks out over a young vineyard and wild reed fields and honestly: we can't choose. You sit outside and enjoy completely privately, inside you grab a glass of wine and light the woodburner On. Brightlingsea Beach is less than a five minute drive away and if you... glamping holiday During the summer months, you can fill your basket for you at the strawberry farm high tea or just straight from the box.
Create a hot tub, an pod (up to four people using folding benches), small but fully equipped kitchenette, view over green rolling fields, a fire pit and a stunning sunset - that's what you'll get when you settle down at Wingbury farm Glamping at Wingrave. The pods are located on the edge of the farm and the lovely people there ensure that a small but delicious breakfast is ready for you for the first morning. Or you go to the Rose and Crown pub in Wingrave sit down for one homemade steak and ale pie – good holiday feeling.
In the Netherlands we are not doing anything wrong at all when it comes to the glamping scene – These nice places prove that.
At Free Range Glamping in Kent you will find four different huts that all do their own thing. Ash Yurt en Oak Yurt have an outdoor kitchen, Barbara en Daisy cabins have an indoor heater. There is an outdoor shower for everyone, a brand new shower block and a fire pit for cozy evenings. Oh, and they all have a got-you-there view too. Between the trees and high-growing meadows you can really enjoy everything around you. There is a Shepherd's Hut where everyone can go for some fun or extra refrigerator space. What you really (really) don't want to miss is the outdoor shower (with hot water). You don't often feel more free in nature.
Set in the beautiful Sussex countryside with views to almost the end of the world - that's where you'll find Bensfield Treehouse. Don't wear your high heels, because before you get to your tree house, you have to cross a 24-meter-long rope bridge. And yes, it's about water, so hold on tight. You sleep in an old oak tree, but don't worry for a moment that you won't have all the comforts of a hut on the ground. There is a stove, a kitchen and a private bathroom, all just for the two of them. The bed is in the middle of the studio tree house, so a weekend of lying and lounging has never been easier, especially when you consider that you also have to sit outside on your sundeck can take a bath. Your breakfast is included with all tasty and local products no time a english breakfast to put on the table. You will find it a ten minute drive away Lamberhurst, a small medieval village with a good selection of nice pubs.

Rustic glamping with just the right dose of fun – if that's your thing, you'll find it Gravel Pit Farm in Kent. It is run by outdoorsy couple Annabel and Simon and their love for being outdoors, making campfires and enjoying that one moment really shine through. You can also light a fire inside (in the stove, please), the kids can have fun on the hidden cabin bed in the safari tent and the rest can sit outside at the picnic table when the weather is nice or around the stove if the weather doesn't bother you. you want. The canvas inside is bright orange because of the sun and in combination with the wooden framework it's exactly right. It is rustic and in nature, but with all the comforts you are used to at home. We like it a lot more here.
