The most special dining experience in Copenhagen: restaurant Gro Spiseri

Wow! That's the first thing you're guaranteed to think when you first get on the roof of the building Gro Spiseri building in the middle of the already fantastic Danish Copenhagen. You walk up a spiral staircase in a back street and upon arrival you see a green and colorful oasis. What immediately stands out? The glass greenhouse! Right. So you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner in it when you join us Gro Spiseri.

The concept of the lazy behind Gro Spiseri Copenhagen needs some explanation. Here it is: the initiative came from the three founders who wanted more with nature, the neighborhood and good food. For example, a suitable building was sought that was very sturdy because 600 meters of agriculture/cultivation cannot be placed on every roof. They found an ideal spot in the northwest of Copenhagen.

Oh, and an important side note was that the neighborhood had to be involved too. For example, at Gro Spiseri the intention is for a small one funding local residents can get their fruit and vegetables here. So on top of the roof. Also eggs? That's good, but then you also get to take care of the chickens every now and then - this keeps the entire "farm" alive.

The team behind Gro Spiseri Copenhagen himself is mainly concerned with maintaining the garden and making the most delicious dishes. Everything on your plate comes from our own roof garden. And what about all fish and meat? This comes from small-scale local entrepreneurs. Nothing but the best quality is good enough for team Gro. It also provides fun initiatives. For example, team Bart was there in the summer month and a special breakfast was organised. Once again everything local, sustainably produced and finger licking good.

The setting is extremely intimate, with a number of other clubs at a long table and delicious food. The explanation comes from the chef and then you can attack. Also nice is the tour of the farm that gives you a look behind the scenes.
