Winter overnight stay at the Edelweiss Hotel, Austria

Hotel Edelweiss is yet another wonderful hotel in Austria Right in the center of Zürs am Arlberg. For those familiar with the Wes Anderson (right? right?): Hotel Edelweiss fits the bill perfectly. Symmetrical, a touch retro, rich colors, a warm atmosphere, almost like a film set. A real treat.

Here you can step straight onto the slopes from the hotel (ski-in, ski-out So!) and after a long day in the snow, it's just as nice inside as it is outside. Zürs itself is small but charming and part of the Arlberg region, which means: good slopes and charming mountain huts for long lunches. No hysterical après-ski, but stylish enjoyment. Just like Hotel Edelweiss itself: classically Austrian and everything perfectly taken care of.

After a day outdoors, the spa beckons: sauna, steam room, and perhaps a massage or some physiotherapy to get everything moving again. In the evening, you can enjoy a meal in the restaurant. comfort food Austrian style and not to forget: good wine.

Hotel Edelweis is a "Hip Hotel," and while that term gives us a bit of a shiver, it (like the Design Hotels group) is often a very good indicator. Never mass-market hotels, no predictable chains, but places with their own unique character. Hotel Edelweiss, for example: traditional Tyrolean charm with modern comforts. And it's a genuinely cozy family hotel, despite its "hipness," with spacious rooms, local cuisine, a wellness center with a sauna and pool, and direct access to hiking and ski trails. And don't forget that panoramic mountain view, attentive service, and numerous activities—it's perfect for nature and culture lovers of all ages.
