IBIZA's hidden gems to stay & unwind #3 – Cas Gasi

They call themselves Ibiza's best kept secret and that might just be true since it took us no less than 3 years before we got this one hidden gems discovered. At least such good news: Boutique hotel Cas Gasi is open all year round - yes, 365 days a year. Drive past our friends from Can Sastre just a little further into the hills of Santa Gertrudis, and you arrive at this pearl. Not the first and - to be honest - not the cheapest Agroturismo on the island, but this is certainly not just any place. Here come the rich & famous (and we don't mean the noisy kind, but the sophisticated ones) from far and wide to enjoy this unique, authentic, charming part of Ibiza in peace and quiet.

This old estate has been owned by the originally German owner Margaret and her family for years. The combination of ultimate luxury & comfort and an intimate living room atmosphere is unique here. The extremely comfortable suites are a perfect balance of both. As soon as you arrive at the mainhouse When you enter, you feel like you're walking into a romantic film from the last century. The spacious lounge is warm and homely with its open loft, comfortable sofas with an abundance of cushions to sink into, authentic wooden beams on the high ceilings, a large stately mantelpiece, stacks of art books everywhere and every wall is wallpapered with special Article. They definitely had us at hello.

The stylishly decorated restaurant was completely renovated last year and is also accessible to guests from outside the hotel. Man oh man it is beautiful. Here you can really enjoy refined cuisine with extensive gastronomic options a la cart menu in a very nice and cozy setting. Even better: everything is from our own garden, even the olive oil is prepared here by hand. Love!

The hotel also has a wellness area with a hot tub and sauna. You can get manicures, massages, aromatherapy and several others here beauty treatment en health undergo treatments. Every morning a yoga class takes place on the yoga platform outside, overlooking the rolling hills with its idyllic views.

This unique ecological boutique hotel is completely self-sufficient and complete sustainable. Fan! They have solar collectors and on the land they grow their own vegetables, fruit, olives, herbs and lush flowers in abundance. Be at breakfast home made granola and homemade marmalades made from figs & apricots from our own garden. Are you going for it? vegan breakfast, think of dishes like fermented fennel and smoked homemade tofu.

As far as we are concerned, another bonus is that children are welcomed here with open arms. There is even a separate children's area, closed off with secure gates and the icing on the cake is a heated swimming pool. Only now probably not for very long secret more…
