In early 2026, Belgian designers (and business partners) Jo Hoeven and Karel Loontiens opened their beautiful Jonoje, a cozy six-room B&B in their hometown of Bruges. A red brick building on the edge of the historic center, where brooms used to be manufactured—plot twist.

The pair also run together Studio Loho, a studio that makes custom ceramic objects for interior designers of the caliber of Vincent Van Duysen and Pierre Yovanovitch (yes, those leaguesIt makes sense, then, that they have filled their own B&B with items from their own workshop. Egg-shaped ceramic shower cabins, clay sinks, and walls finished with organic plaster – as if you are sleeping in a life-sized ceramic sculpture.
