Oh boy, how we love a class hotel in a top location! And boy, lord knows that we love London. And so we took the train, within 4 hours (!!!), from the heart of 020 to the heart of London City, looking for the best places to stay. No sooner said than done and we couldn't go past K West Hotel & Spa. That has it all: wonderful beds, more delicious food and the most delicious cocktails, performances, and oh yes, don't forget that Spa and an immense gym. K West Hotel & Spa, central, close to everything, but actually you will find everything you need there. Whether you want to relax in bed or the spa or lose your energy in the gym or dancing at a performance.

To the K West Hotel & Spa London wanted, and want, especially because of the widely acclaimed spa in the hotel. That spa won several awards and it turns out: rightly so. But we'll come back to that later. First of all, it's good to know that K West has nothing to do with Kim's husband, fortunately. Although the hotel does have a solid musical history: the house in a former BBC building where Bob Marley once played, is now a sleek and modern hotel where you can regularly spot a DJ behind a turntable in the weekend or, if you're luckier, just visit a concert.

The enormous glass facade of the building gives away what you will find behind that facade before you even enter: an open, fresh, modern, sleek and, above all, oh-so-friendly hotel. The new luxury, so to speak. That luxury that is a bit, but not too much, on top and in which everyone feels happy to crash for a while. If you do that, crash at the K West Hotel, make sure you have a drink in the Studio Bar and don't miss the extensive breakfast.

Breakfast and lunch come from the Studio Kitchen served with a slice of glamor and a side order of cool, perfectly matching the hotel itself. The food is also served in the rooms so you can munch on it in your fluffy, super light bathrobe, with your ass on the best bed linen money can buy – nothing more to do. Nightcap? Dive into the Studio Bar and don’t leave without trying the Porn Star Martini.

And go to the basement. Because here, in the catacombs of the historic but cool building, is a more than fine spa with a menu that will appeal to you: facials, full body, but you can also go to the nail bar or the relaxation room. There is a herbal steam room, hydrotherapy pool and London's first 'snow room'. – a kind of snow-white Narnia-esque treatment room.

Better to exert than to relax: they won't leave you hanging. In the hotel you will find a gym and that is not just any gym. the K Fit gym is the largest in a hotel in the UK. As a guest you can walk in and immediately swing kettle bells or do some cardio. And yes, after an intensive session, that wonderful spa is still there and a treatment feels even better.

The location in West London is great, ten minutes walk to Notting Hill, five minutes to Westfield London (shopping!) close to Hyde Park, Kensington and the West End. Several stages around the corner in case K West himself doesn't have a gig at that moment. You can also go further afield for shopping or discovering other nice corners of London in no time with the tube which will take you 24/7 to Covent Garden, Bond Street, Oxford Circus or wherever you want to go.

In short: K West Hotel & Spa is peace, quiet and relaxation in a modern, urban vibe immediately dash of glamour.
