A rooftop workspace (with yoga & pool!) in Cape Town: Light House Holistic Wellbeing
When we discovered this clubhouse where co-working and yoga are included in the membership, we jumped for joy. And you can take that literally: Light House is located on a rooftop terrace on Breestraat with, yes, a swimming pool. A pool with a view of Signal Hill, no less. You get the idea: all the thumbs-up boxes are easily checked here for a few hours of work, a yoga session in between, and a refreshing dip during the summer months.

But we'd be selling Light House short if we considered it just a nice place to open your laptop. It's a holistic hub for work, relaxation, and personal growth. A bright space with serene workspaces, space for focus and connection, and a sense of community. There's an in-house bar with delicious coffee, matcha, and other focus-focused drinks. Just like fresh granola bowls and healthy muffins or date balls.
Besides co-working, Light House is also a mini-retreat, offering regular workshops and sessions on breathing exercises, meditation, movement, and of course, yoga. And yes, they organize aerial yoga (for beginners!).
The whole concept revolves around conscious living, working in balance, and getting out of your head and into your body. Spoiler alert: that's surprisingly easy here with the sun on your face and the mountains in the background. The easiest way to register for one of the sessions (and yes, especially: ask questions, because the selection is wide-ranging and sometimes quite in-depth) is via Instagram.
Want to go all out? Good to know: Light House is also available for exclusive rental. Each month, four slots are available for full private rental, for example, a bachelorette party, birthday, product launch, or other private gathering. The added bonus of a yoga deck, swimming pool, and Signal Hill as a backdrop is a real reason to organize something.
