Give, exchange and recycle: Kids Clothes Swap at Motherhood in Amsterdam West

It was the end of November and the concept store Motherhood in the Kinkerstraat in Amsterdam West opened its doors for the first time Recycle Saint. It was much busier than expected, lots of fun toys arrived and parents left happy with second-hand free Santa gifts. And even AT5 came to see the success. On Sunday January 26, Motherhood will have a new recycle, exchange and give event. The Kids Closet Swap. Get your exchange clothes ready.

Motherhood Amsterdam

Motherhood has now opened as a store with many beautiful brands such as Boro*Mini, Palais de L'Eau, Atelier Boomerang, Sep7ember and more. It is – as the name suggests – a store for mothers. Where you can find products and workshops that make motherhood easier and more enjoyable. The usually neatly tidy store will be chaotically turned upside down again next weekend for a good cause. Decluttering, recycling and giving is the theme.

The “rules” are as follows. You bring some beautiful (!) items (so the concept remains fun for everyone) that you no longer wear and you can take a maximum of 3 items home. Clothing that is not taken at the end of the day goes to charity. If you don't have any clothes to donate but you see nice items that you can use, a donation to the Dear Mama Foundation is good for your karma. Dear Mama is committed to vulnerable (expectant) mothers in the Netherlands. Please donate.

So come, give, exchange and recycle. Good for a tidy house, for the planet and the feel-good vibe. Kids Clothes Swap Sunday January 26 from 11.00 a.m. to 17.00 p.m. in Motherhood, Kinkerstraat 270 in Amsterdam.
