Just opened in the fall of 2022 is Kuni & Gunde. A great place for coffee and cake, delicious sandwiches for lunch and drinks with cocktails until late in the evening. The wooden design interior was built together with future customers. Everyone was allowed to help and even before Kuni opened, it was fun. There is the ground floor with the large bar, the intimate mezzanine and the lovely roof terrace. Kuni & Gunde is a nice, young place where you can enjoy hot chocolate or beers.
The brunch resort of choice. from Basel. the Manufacture has three locations in Basel. Location Elisabethen is in a beautiful corner building with an idyllic terrace around the fountain. Here you can enjoy coffee or chocolate with cake or an extensive brunch menu. From bagel to acai bowl and from tartine to salad. It can be busy around lunchtime, so take waiting time into account. Location Gundeli is there for brunch and in the evening for burgers. While we found the staff at Elisabethen a bit rushed, we found them extremely friendly at Gundeli. And then there is the dining bar foodcourt Clare, where they serve (vegan) burgers.
