Little C... perhaps the most beautifully landscaped piece of new construction in Rotterdam. You could call it the piece of New York in Rotterdam. Here you will find a combination of very cool houses, co-working spaces and restaurants, including the one we already love Old Scuola. But what you can also find here is our great love Kula (we see room for the “Old Kula pizza” here, but who are we). Kula is the place for lunch and breakfast in Rotterdam Coolhaven.

Before everything opened, we secretly peeked through the windows. Where out of the corner of our eye we saw a tree looming in space. A tree? Yes, you read that right, a tree. The interior designer or architect of this space really went above and beyond with this design. Neutral soft tones, without it becoming boring. In the middle of the store a very cool designed wooden tree, rocking chairs, the whole shebang.
In addition to the beautiful interior, let's not forget to talk about the food. It is a collection of delicious nutritious dishes with breakfast, lunch and (pre-yoga) snacks. How does a Sticky Tempeh Bowl sound, which essentially lets you experience Bali in a bowl, or a Big Jackfruit Burrito? We ate both and they are both highly recommended. You eat this in the restaurant or on the terrace with a view of the Little C district or the water.
Kula was founded on the philosophy of really bringing people together. They do this not only in the restaurant, but also in the yoga studio that you can find above the restaurant. In this place you become zen times a thousand, so to speak. They have extended the well-thought-out interior to the yoga studio and with a view over the water you can take the best yoga and meditation lessons here. After your yoga class, join us for breakfast or take a delicious Chai Latte to go with you at home.
Don't get us wrong. We love the hustle and bustle of Rotterdam, but if you want to completely relax and leave the rushing city behind you, then visit Kula. We promise you won't regret it.
