We make the best finds when we're just randomly scrolling through Booking.com. That is how we suddenly stumbled upon this awesome (budget!) place just a stone's throw from the Sacré-Coeur in Paris: La Bohème Montmartre. 170 euros per night for an entire studio that, with a bit of squeezing and cramming, you can quite easily fit four people in (a family or very, very, very sweet friends).
La Bohème Montmartre is situated in a prime location: close to the Sacred Heart and Place du Tertre. The apartments are just as stylish as the neighborhood itself. The walls are covered in all kinds of prints: flowers, stripes, palm trees... yet the overall effect is not too busy and everything fits together. Besides the rain shower, even the toilet is worth mentioning, as it has underfloor heating. No more cold feet when you need to go to the toilet at night.
Montmartre is one of the busiest and most touristy districts of Paris. The apartments themselves are surprisingly quiet. Nevertheless, we accept the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood, as you get a lot in return. Are you looking for the local, authentic gems frequented by real Parisians?
