Dream spot in Italy: La Torre Alle Tolfe in Siena

Located just a few kilometers from Siena, Italy La Torre Alle Tolfe. This Tuscan estate of over 100 hectares includes a medieval borgo, restaurant with its own vegetable garden, vineyard and olive grove. They also grow grains and legumes, all without pesticides. From the estate you look out over Siena and the green hills of the Chianti Mountains. Oh, and did we mention the chapel? Indeed, this is the perfect place for one Tuscan wedding. Or just for a delicious one holiday naturally.

At the heart of the estate lies the medieval village. The villa has 16 rooms and 3 adjoining apartments. The decor is traditional, each room is unique. A bit awkward, but above all very cozy Italian. Breakfast is served every morning in the garden. There is even more (you have to do something with 100 hectares). Around the estate are 4 old farms that were renamed Country Residence. This consists of 40 apartments where you can also stay for a longer period of time. Good to know, because we don't want to go home for a long time.

Ristorante la Torre alle Tolfe

Ristorante la Torre alle Tolfe

Located in the middle of the borgo Ristorante la Torre alle Tolfe. The menu mainly contains simple (but delicious) seasonal dishes. Think fresh pasta, home-baked bread and Tuscan classics. Be sure to visit on Sunday, because then it's pizza night. Vegetables come from our own garden, eggs from our own chickens and some grains even from our own field. You can not only eat here, but also take cooking lessons yourself.

Dolce vita

Dolce vita

At La Torre Alle Tolfe, sustainability and culture are of paramount importance. They love this slow living and guests and locals are involved. From helping with harvesting grapes and olives to picking mushrooms and pruning olive trees. It is all possible for those who want it. We think that's great, because it means that future generations can also fully enjoy it la dolce vita. With that sweet life, things will be fine here. On the estate itself you can swim, play tennis and take yoga classes. Or just enjoy delicious wines during a wine tasting. There is also plenty to see and do in the area. Siena is beautiful and the area is perfect for it hikes. Less sporty? Book a massage, take a ceramics workshop or relax on the terrace. There really is something for everyone.
