Le Jardin de Verre by Locke – new insane hotel in Paris

Nice, Paris, but 'thanks' to hotels like The Glass Garden by Locke there is a chance that we will see very little of the city. A shame, yes, but look! Two baroque French mansions and a 19th-century factory have been transformed by interior design studio Fettle (Google it!) into the newest branch of Locke Hotels (ditto: Google it, it's all good news) in the middle of Paris. A party in warm earth tones at - despite the fact that we actually don't want to go outside, not unimportant - a top location in the city, namely the 5th arrondissement not far (10 min walk) from the Panthéon.

In the historic (but isn't everything historic in Paris?) 5th arrondissement, Locke Living (the group that guarantees all those beautiful hotels of the Locke group) has opened its latest concept: The Jardin de Verre Paris. They call it a hybrid accommodation concept, which means that you can also go there for long stay. And that means in practical terms that many rooms have a pantry and/or mini kitchen and lots of storage space. Translate that to young families and you know that this is where you want to be with your mini-human: the flexibility of serviced apartments and the service of a boutique hotel in a very handsome guise.

Looking for something other than a hotel? Via Booking.com you can also book apartments, Bed & Breakfasts, luxury villas or charming chalets in the middle of nature.

The light, colourful (inside) building has 130 studios and apartments. The garden surrounded by glass (aha, hence the name!) is the heart of the complex: a light-filled atrium with vertical vegetation. There is a co-working lounge (great for long stay flex workers) indeed), fitness room and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Parisian skyline. Even if you are not a guest, joining us in the restaurant is an excellent idea: seasonal dishes, local ingredients, craft cocktails and natural wines for the win here. What makes us really happy? The flawlessly functioning digital check-in and check-out procedures! Everything via an app that can immediately tell you the best things about the neighborhood. That neighborhood? Quartier Latin, close to the Sorbonne, the Panthéon and the cozy café culture of Saint-Germain.

Last but not least: with prices starting from €180 per night for studios and significant discounts for stays longer than a week. The Jardin de Verre by Lockand a very good, handsome option in Paris.
