Nicest shops in Den Burg, Texel
We love the Wadden Islands. That moment when you see the sea while the boat trip still has to be made, then you know... the getaway has started. Texel is one of our favorites, we find it difficult to choose and it is actually not necessary at all. And Den Burg is, as you know, an absolute favorite on the island. In addition to the delicious restaurants, cafes, bakeries and coffee shops, we also enjoy coming here for the cozy shops. Here's our top 5, here we go!
This is the kind of address that makes your heart skip a beat Hip spot. First of all, the combination of what they offer: coffee, vintage and WiFi. It is not yet entirely clear to us what the last one in this list does here, but we assume that it is also a great place to work. Ha, it's nice if you want to type away an email in a nice vintage ambiance. Hipspot is especially worth a visit for the beautiful vintage items. From vases to pots, from cups to lamps, really walhalla for when you want to brighten up your interior with something authentic.
There is nothing as nice as a nice store where you can succeed in multiple areas. Leave your answer to this Jojo are. from women's clothing to men's, from gifts to children's stuff – they have everything here. Brands such as Minimum, Kings of Indigo, Armed Angels are on the racks for the ladies. For the children there is a wide range of toys from Maileg, Djéco, Greentoys and a huge number of puzzles and craft supplies. Plenty of entertainment.
The nicest everything-have store on Texel! Upon entering you are overwhelmed by color, cheerfulness and a great sense of fun. Signs, services, backpacks and jewelry. Everything you need for nice gifts for someone else or for yourself can be found here. Also many sustainable and Dutch brands here, such as toys from Zsilt. You want this!
The island's children's shop is here. Started with a women's shop and recently also one for minis (diagonally opposite each other). Bee There you go they sell the slightly more traditional brands; Feetje, Noppies, Name-it and toys, lots of toys. If you need sunglasses or swimming trunks, you've come to the right place for that too.
Nothing tastier than a Texel chocolate from time to time. In 2012, the owners moved their shop from Friesland to Texel (because yes, nature, the island, it beckoned) and have been the proud owners of this literally wonderful business ever since. You can get everything at this chocolate shop; from white to pure, from a special range around the festive holidays, nothing too crazy. Find the tastiest chocolates on the island here!
