Coffee bar Bomboca in Arnhem is a nicest bar on the edge of the cozy and stately Spijkerkwartier district.
In 2018, Koffiebar Bomboca, Arnhem, was born after owners Judith and her Portuguese husband João had extensively renovated the dilapidated building into a cozy and I-immediately-feeling-at-home place. Each wall is covered with a color, cultural posters or work by (changing) local artists. And the smell of freshly baked cake greets you from the open kitchen. Hello living room feeling! Read more.
Off we go to the nice Nijmegen (where we have been keeping track of what is going on in that city for quite some time: Nijmegen tips). Also sits there Café Wunderkammer and Café Wunderkammer is an inspiring place ('cabinet of curiosities') for lunch and drinks, in the heart of the city. Cabinet of curiosities? Well, it's like this, you enjoy your coffee and sweets in this tent among knick-knacks from all over the world. But it is not only the animals, prints and objects that make up this special collection, the specially selected drinks also come from all corners of the world. And that makes Café Wunderkammer a wonderful place.

Create a laid back campsite with two private beaches, two small marinas and a great coffee shop, in the middle of the nature reserve of the floodplains of the Lower Rhine, that's why you have to go Camping Oosterbeeks Rijbank are. This campsite is perfectly located with the forests and hills of the Veluwe in the back and with a view of the Betuwe on the other side of the river. Equipped with electricity, you can spend a weekend or week there with your caravan, camper or tent. Order some nice weather yourself and the tone is set.
Kids-proof it is there too: plenty of climbing frames and equipment and because you are on the edge of the Rhine, swimming at one of the beaches is an option when the weather is right. Extra plus: on the site you will find a covered area that everyone can use. There is a refrigerator with freezer space and in bad weather you can cook and eat here, for example.
