Maison Le Chevreuil: the newest (and most beautiful) addition to French Meursault

Whether we have lost our hearts in the French vineyards of BurgundyYes, yes. And what exactly was the cause of that? Probably – no, we know for sure – it was Maison Le ChevreuilA place where you are welcomed with open arms and where everyone feels at home immediately.

The decor is a feast for the eyes, and that starts right at the entrance. That is where you will find the oh-so-handsome bar – round in shape, so that you can pull up a chair with your entire party and no one feels left out. You will find that round shape throughout the hotel. Everything is warm, as are the colors of the interior. The materials are inspired by the surroundings and come directly from nature. For instance, that same bar is proof that French clay is not only good for the wines, but also looks great in the interior. Everything is built up layer by layer and down to the last detail. From the ceiling to the floors and everything in between.

You don't check in at an ordinary reception here. Instead, you are welcomed in the hotel's coffee corner. And yes, you can immediately sample the coffee and French delicacies there. But of course, you can also opt for one of the local wines. Just to get into the mood right away.

Wines, wines, wines

Who through the Beaune Coast If you drive past, you cannot miss the charming village of Meursault. It lies amidst the famous vineyards, with old wineries on every corner, and the scent of Burgundy all over the place. The perfect place to stroll around and enjoy a good glass of wine.

In the region you will find the famous Premier Cru vineyards such as Les Charmes, Les Genevrières and Les Perrières. Names that wine lovers know all too well. Meursault is known for its Chardonnay, but Pinot Noir has also found its place here. Did someone just say 'wine'?

And when you’ve finished your soak, you can just – hop – pull up a chair on the terrace of the in-hotel restaurant. Earths.
