Pop-up greenhouse full of flowers and plants: MOOD GARDEN on November 2, 3 and 4 in Amsterdam

So nice to have those colorful and green pop-ups in (large) cities. Gray squares, bare roof terraces and sometimes even parking garages are transformed into oases of flowers and plants. And so also this weekend in Amsterdam! On November 2, 3 and 4 you will find MOOD GARDEN at the RAI in Amsterdam.

The people at MOOD GARDEN have built a pop-up greenhouse (the better pop-ups, we think) of no less than 270m2. This greenhouse is packed with flowers and plants, and that is probably the best medicine against this weekend's weather forecast, because it does not bode well. In contrast to the program at MOOD GARDEN; that will be a party.

The idea behind this green pop-up is not new, but remains important and we will therefore continue to repeat: nature is good for people! Flowers and plants have a positive effect on people, whether you live a completely holistic life or take an occasional walk in the woods – green is good. Call the MOOD GARDEN experience a 2.0 injection of your share of nature, plants and trees. The Flower Council of Holland, the initiator of this pop-up on behalf of the Dutch floriculture sector, also wants to pass on that message (again). Even just a bouquet of flowers or a number of houseplants can reduce your feelings of stress and anxiety, they can improve concentration and yes: a bouquet of flowers on the table makes everyone happy, right?

In the four different rooms in the greenhouse, everything revolves around the feeling that plants and flowers give. All senses must be activated, because you can listen, look, feel and... of course: smell all kinds of things.

Power of plantfulness

So yes: great weekend tip indeed. Recharge at MOOD GARDEN, channel your inner tree hugger, just walk around and get inspired for new plants in your living room and there are some other fun things you can do there. Hang (literally) like a hanging plant, for example, or leave a card with kind words for someone else (or yourself, or the plant: up to you).

And when you are completely zen again, you can reach De Pijp within a triple jump and there is also plenty of fun there. To stay in the plant sphere: the Plant market at the Albert Cuyp has beautiful and good plants and flowers plus there are plenty of them nice catering industry in the Pijp.

De MOOD GARDEN is free to visit. The doors are open on November 2 from 12.00:18.00 noon to 3:4 PM and on November 10.00 and 18.00 from XNUMX:XNUMX AM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM.
