Sustainable tableware from Motel a Miio x Ju Schnee
It's colorful and sounds so southern. Which made us assume that Motel a Miio came from the southern European peninsula. That is only partly true. This sustainable and fair brand in handmade ceramics was invented by Laura and Anna from Munich and is made as environmentally friendly as possible in Portugal. Motel a Miio has beautiful tableware, cups, bowls, vases and accessories in beautiful colors and shapes. You can view the ceramics in the shops in Amsterdam and Utrecht and take them home with you if you fall in love.
After a successful first collab, Motel a Miio is launching a collaboration with Berlin artist Ju Schnee. The colorful vases and candlesticks are one piece of art in your house.

We have this thing with ceramics. And so we walked into the Motel a Miio store in the Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam. Like a child in a candy store, we gaped at all the beautiful things. Crockery in neutral tones combined with cozy colors such as mint, deep green and rosé. Vases in sleek or organic shapes and with contrasting colors, speckles or patterns. The ceramics are handmade and hand-painted at a family business in Portugal. And in addition to being sold online, it is sold in stores in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Amsterdam and Utrecht. The paintings and objects of artist Ju Schnee are characterized by abstract shapes in bright colors. In collab With Motel a Miio they made cool vases and candlesticks in funky colors such as mint, lavender, pastel pink and yellow. Like Miio's other work, it is hand-painted and fairly made in Portugal. It is Ju's mission to make people happy with her work. And such a cheerful piece of usable art in the home with a lively bunch of flowers in it certainly does that to us. The collab is limited edition and available in stores in Amsterdam and Utrecht online.
