From mid-December onwards, Prague will be drinking, going for midnight ice skating next to the Estates Theater and tasting traditional dishes such as pencil case (gingerbread), svarené vino (mulled wine) and punč (hot punch). There are two large Christmas markets and parties are organized throughout the rest of the city during the holidays. There are street performances, classical Christmas concerts and endless parties on the Vltava.
