OKA – FOGO in Paris: double the enjoyment with two restaurants in one

Brazil in the heart of Paris. Look... restaurant OKA FOGO does it the right way. Located on the ground floor of a Haussmann building in the 17th arrondissement. This is where food, design and culture come together very nicely. Michelin-star chef Raphael Rego opened a double restaurant here, which we tell you. A double restaurant? Yes, two restaurants (Oka and Fogo) in the same location that part ways due to their different interpretations of Brazilian cuisine.

The appeal of this restaurant is by far really the interior. The interior consists of warm colors such as brown, beige and orange. The materials they use are mainly wood and marble. At Oka Fogo they infuse culture not only in the dishes (more about that below!), but also in the furniture, imported from Brazil and France.

On the one hand you have Oka: an intimate atmosphere where sixteen people can eat. Raphael started the restaurant as an invitation to come home. This atmosphere is reflected in the entire restaurant. On the ceiling you can see a beautiful painting that brings together the French and Brazilian cultures. This restaurant focuses on French cuisine that combines its food with Brazilian flavors.

Fogo has more of a bistro feel, it can accommodate forty people. The grill, stew kitchen and bar can be found in this restaurant. Unlike Oka, Fogo is open for breakfast and lunch. They have various dishes on the menu, whether it concerns meat, fish or shellfish.
