On a (distant) tour with the kids
When the days become longer and darker again, you will always have one sunny bright spot: vacation! To the sun! There is something for everyone to see. A true mecca for adventurers, animal experts and nature lovers:

Costa Rica is also known for its chill vibe and this is best done here on the Caribbean coast (Cahuita) or on the Pacific coast (Sámara or Playa Carrillo). Beach, lounger, fresh coconut and nothing more to do!
The land of smiling faces, very tasty food, green jungle, pictures of temples and white sandy beaches. Oh and monkeys everywhere (really everywhere): keep your stuff inside or it'll be gone. Thailand offers a mix of experiences, so where do you start?
- Bangkok, start with a detective game along all highlights (ideal!).
- Stroll through the local colorful markets of Chiang Mai
- On to the jungle, and spend the night in a jungle lodge in Khao Sok.

And to top it all off: cycling. We can do that with the best of us, but now through Sukhothai Historical Park. Explore the ancient temple ruins at your leisure. Thailand is good for your dose of vitamin D and moments of inner happiness, because hello, pictures of views. And it is easy easy with the kids: Thailand is very bad family oriented and children are always welcome.
Imagine, you could now pack your bags for a country far far away, Then you choose sun, sea, beach, good food, nice people, interesting culture and just a lot of beauty? So Indonesia. And right: Bali! One of the world's most favorite holiday islands. It is beautiful, but there is much more, so exploring Sumatra and Java is also a good idea. And then the kitchen: Nasi Goreng or Rendang, and that fruit that really tastes like fruit snappie? That's what you want and what more do you want:
- Palm trees, jungle, volcanoes (with sunrise), temples and surfing with the kids.

- A jungle orangutan adventure in Sumatra.

Indonesia is wonderful. Point. And we haven't even talked about the authentic huts and hotels with swimming pools.
What did you think about Sri Lanka? The main reason to go to Sri Lanka what you want (and you want!) is the enormous diversity of the country. There is unspoilt, untouched nature, lots of culture and beautiful beaches.

Cleopatra, ancient paintings, pyramids, Pharaohs, Tutankhamun in other words: Egypt. The country full of ancient mysteries and treasures. To give a taste:

- At Luxor takes you in a traditional Egyptian sailboat, back in the days of the Pharaohs.

From scooter tour, strawberry picking, canoe trip, visiting all National Parks to a junior creak course for the kids – everything has been thought of. In the Middle East, and known for vast landscapes and iconic treasures: Jordan! From the bustling streets of the capital Amman to the mysterious pink city of Petra. Full of trips and all for parents and children:

Vietnam! Firstly, sorry not sorry but we still end up with food! Think of all those spices, smells and dishes like Pho (that noodle soup), fresh spring rolls, and street stalls serving the most mouth-watering delicacies. Vietnam has an impressive history and is therefore an inspiring destination. Vietnamese hospitality is almost unmatchable; ideal if you are traveling with the family. And so much to do:
- From a Martial Arts lesson to a cooking lesson Hoi An, learn about the culinary traditions.
- A kite and lantern making workshop
- Discover the art of Indigo dyeing with a workshop with the local Hmong tribe in Sapa, (part of age-old traditions).
- Sleeping on a traditional junk in Halong Bay (boat on the water, in the middle of nature).
- Boat tour by Sampan (small tour boat) across the Mekong Delta.
- Cycle or take a rickshaw to the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
There is also plenty for the luxury cats: sleep in a 4-star hotel with a swimming pool and end your trip on the tropical beach of Phan Thiet, check! Vietnam's coastline at its best.
Those faraway destinations aren't so bad after all, let's just leave everything behind and have some time quality time with the family. On holiday without stress, that is of course what we all want.
