We are almost certain: no evening is discussed as much as New Year's Eve. In fact, it is perhaps one of the most feared evenings in the world. Expectations are too high, results are consistently disappointing. Chances are you don't know what to do, right? Hands up? You see.
If you also raised your hand (that would be funny), then hopefully this list will give you some inspiration for parties and fun things to do on New Year's Eve 2025.
New Year's Eve fuss? Not if you're celebrating with Le Petit Brunch. On December 31st, join us at Orchid House for a festive shared dining dinner which flows smoothly into a fantastic party until late at night (03:00 AM!). You get a welcome drink, later a shot to ring in the new year, and in between Flowerboii provides the hits. Lots of delicious food, good vibes and one place where you stay all evening parties.

If you want to ring in the new year in a more tropical way, then Hotel Jakarta on Java Island in Amsterdam East is the perfect place for it. There is live music, cocktails are shaken in front of you and of course there are really tasty bites (good for that base). For their New Year's Eve Party Jakarta is putting together a Javanese Food Market and of course you can always admire the skyline of Amsterdam from Malabar on the top floor. Snacks, champagne, unlimited wine all night long, Prosecco, beer, Gin & Tonics, Dutch Mules and Dark & Stormy: all included in your ticket.
On December 31st (duh!), you can make a reservation at the Karavaan for dinner, and if you do, you can party until after midnight to ring in the new year. This year's theme is "Bad and New." After a resounding success last year, Karavaan is back, bigger, shinier, and crazier. You're not just counting down to New Year's Eve; every hour they're coming up with something fun, exciting! The music? 70s & 80s, and who doesn't love a bit of disco? So wear your most glitter & glamour take it out of the closet and take it through at the Caravan.
Dine & Dance NYE. Three restaurants, three kitchens, one big party. Start the evening with a four-course dinner (including champagne) at Visaandeschelde, Cantina L'Esquina, or The Traveller Amsterdam. What's on offer? Seafood classics to Mediterranean fare. shared dining and worldly flavors. Afterwards, everyone gathers at The Traveller Zuid, where Sonny's Inc. plays live, fireworks go up in the sky and oliebollen and a late night snack Ready for the real go-getters. Dinner is between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and the party starts at 10:00 PM and lasts until 2026 (ha-ha). Tickets are available for dinner and the party, or just the party. Dress code: festive, with a touch of glitter (because what else?).
Celebrate NYE just a stone's throw from Amsterdam CS Super Lyan. Not only that, because in addition to that great location, the most festive cocktails are shaken, DJs playing 70s & 80s dance floor Playing classics from 8 PM to 3 AM. Tickets for NYE at Super Lyan cost €25, including a welcome bubble and a midnight shot to toast the new year. At Badhuis in Oost, they know how to throw a party. The lineup has been announced, so let's get moving. From 21:00 PM to 23:00 PM, you can toast with Palomas, cava, oysters, and bitterballen on the house. After that? Three areas, no brakes, and an atmosphere that will carry you into the new year. Already have other plans that evening? Then you have another chance on January 1st, because you can also go to Badhuis for a great New Year's reception with bubbles and the best... money.
