Oh my… What a stunner the Nobis Hotel Palma is, not to be confused with the previously described Concepció by Nobis. They belong to the same group, but in terms of design, this hotel surpasses its older brother, just a stone's throw away in the same Palma. The cosmopolitan design perfectly translates the relaxed, natural character of the island, without compromising on design and modern comfort. It costs a pretty penny… That’s true. But then we say what we always say: you don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy it; pull up a chair for a glass of champagne in the hotel bar, or—also nice and perfectly possible here—make a reservation for breakfast. Okay, you won't get a dip in one of the freestanding bathtubs in the classic, sun-drenched rooms included, but you have to leave something to wish for.
And do you want to tackle the entire island right away? Then it is best to purchase our up-to-date ebook, including Google Maps, with all in the know addresses of Mallorca. To the ebook
La Malvasia is located on a charming little square in the center of Palma, a Mediterranean restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The tuna tartare and patatas bravas are firm favorites, but don't skip the Mallorcan tomato salad with black olive oil either. And then there's the wine: La Malvasia serves its own white wine from a vineyard near Valldemossa, which you really won't find at most other restaurants. The gin and tonics on the terrace aren't bad either.
Modern interior, warm lighting, chill music in the background, and a menu centered on fresh ingredients—and once it is placed in front of you, it all looks beautiful too. You come to Dôme for an original brunch menu featuring local products; the focaccia is highly recommended. Friendly service, generous portions, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. A lovely addition to Palma.
Bankai is located in the Santa Catalina district and is one of Palma's trendiest spots right now. Japanese street food combined with Mediterranean ingredients: a raw bar, sushi, and dishes such as rib eye, ceviche with fresh sea bass, and a delicious sushi with salmon tartare. For cocktails, Bar Nicolás in Palma is a serious address. The bartenders work with a precision you don't see everywhere: freshly squeezed juices, top-notch. Spirits, perfectly polished glassware and ice from cube to sphere; we love it. The gin list is one of the most extensive in the city. We say: take a seat at the bar and enjoy a delicious session. people watching Yes, it is pricey. No, you won't regret it.
In the historic district of El Terreno, one of the more characterful corners of Palma, sits Terreno Club, a social club with a sixties glamour feel that you don't expect but immediately understand. Padel courts, a swimming pool with a terrace, a restaurant for breakfast or lunch, and the relaxed atmosphere of a place where people come to enjoy themselves rather than be seen. A morning of padel, followed by lunch by the pool—that is what a day in Palma should look like.

Absolute favorite in the capital Palma (Palma de Mallorca) is The Camino. Interior (check out that floor and the I really like the Mallorcan tiles – delicious), food (all local), the wines... Everything at El Camimo is on point. And the staff is also fantastic. The restaurant has one long bar in the middle where you sit. Order lots of snacks (para picar – for snacking), add a good bottle of wine and voilà! A great evening guaranteed. It's nice to share everything, but if you would like some tips: flor de calabacin en Goat cheese… So so so delicious! And if you come with a larger group, there is also a larger table at the back.
