Culinary dining among the flowers at pop-up restaurant Rococo des Fleurs (13, 14 and 15 May 2022)
Hidden among the orchards of Cothen (which is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht) in Utrecht, pop-up restaurant Rococo des Fleurs on May 13, 14 and 15, 2022 its doors. Rococo des Fleurs? Yes, it went something like this: master florist Menno Kroon has beautifully designed an estate over the years, full of greenery and flowers. It's a shame not to show this to the general public, so to speak. This is how he became good friends (or at least: he started a collaboration, which is also good) with some of the Netherlands' best star chefs Ron Blaauw, Dennis Huwaë and Hans van Wolde. And so, you can guess, the idea for this nice pop-up restaurant was born. It was baptized Rococo des Fleurs. Chic name, chic plan. In other words: the best of the best together: star food in an orangery with good music (did we mention that already?). Read more below.

Starts on May 13 Rococo some Flowers with one of the most famous star chefs in the Netherlands: Ron Blaauw. The next day, the young talented chef Dennis Huwaë will be in charge of the kitchen. And they close on May 15 with internationally renowned star chef Hans van Wolde. During all three pop-up days, concert pianist Iris Hond will complete Rococo's atmosphere on her grand piano. International club DJs Propulsive, Berber Esha, Hans Stroeve are also present. What can we expect? Some modern jazz, lounge and deep house.
Also nice: we don't have to hold back with the drinks. Rococo des Fleurs works together with Bentley (you know, that very luxurious expensive car brand) and they provide pickup en drop off from guests who want that. This way, the evening's house champagne – Pol Roger – can flow freely and guests still return home responsibly and safely. Let the bubbles begin!
