Welcome to Slô, a retreat where silence, (inner)peace and nature are central. We believe it's essential to switch off the noise to appreciate the beauty of life and recharge your batteries surrounded by nature.

This is what you can read on the Slô Escape website – a website that immediately calms you down. That bodes well. There are six off-grid hanging cabins – a kind of tree houses where there is nothing but yourself. The design is minimalist (and beautiful) and all you do is attend a workshop - upon request. And further? Rest. You don't have to (or can't) do anything. The ultimate luxury, right?

There are 3 types of 'slowing down' that can be booked Slo Escape, so two of each – a quick calculation that even we managed to do. There are two light glass huts, suspended between the trees more than 4 meters above the ground so that you have a 360° view of nature. Once inside you will never want to leave. The Glass Cubecabin has 30 m² and is equipped with an equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and a mezzanine for 2 people. The icing on the cake is undoubtedly the 20m² roof terrace between the treetops with a unique view of the surroundings. If the weather is good, you can even shower outside in the sun or moonlight!

Van de Flying Fermette there are also two. This cabin is 3 meters above the ground and has a 31m² cabin with 2 large glass fronts at both ends. Nice: the looks are inspired by a traditional Belgian farm. The Flying Fermette cabin has a kitchen, living room and dining room followed by a covered terrace. The mezzanine can accommodate 2 people and a sofa bed can sleep a further 2 guests.

The most impressive of the 3 types of cabins are certainly the two 'towers'. They are 8 meters high and offer the best of both worlds for you and your family. A safe haven close to Earth. Only 1 meter above the ground (we can have that) and accessible for all ages. The sturdy retreat is 35 m² and has forest views on each side of the cabin. Lighting a fire in the fire pit is fun for the whole bunch and what better way to end an already magical day than by stargazing from the 8 meter high roof terrace among the highest treetops? You can go to the tower with a maximum of 5 people. The 2 mezzanines each have a sleeping area for 2 people and a sofa bed can accommodate a 5th person. The hut has a kitchen, living room, dining room and a bathroom with toilet and shower.
