Luxury in London at The Chancery Rosewood Hotel
In the spring of 2025, a Rosewood Hotel in the former Palace of Justice in Amsterdam, and a few months later, The Chancery Rosewood opened in the former American embassy in London. The fact that both hotels are housed in former state buildings isn't the only similarity: luxury is the common denominator that transcends all else. And yes, we think it's delicious. And yes, we'll have to save up for it too. But hey, if you don't tickle yourself...
For years, The Chancery was home to American ministers, but these days, slightly less affluent Americans (and non-Americans) can stay there for around £1300 a night, the starting price. There's a lot to be said for that, and a lot to be had. First up, a suite—there are no regular rooms at this hotel—with a marble bathroom, plush carpets, and floor-to-ceiling windows. This way, you can enjoy the view while enjoying the space even more. You don't even have to leave the hotel for a successful weekend. There are eight bars and restaurants, a 24-hour gym, sauna, steam room, and a 25-meter swimming pool. Got money to spare? Dive in.
