The Hoxton Holborn, London
The favorite hotel we've stayed in lately? The Hoxton Holborn. for real. That actually started earlier, with the first one Hoxton Hotel in Shorditch, also tackled and the favorite so far. That's because of the price, the relaxed nature of everything, the more than fine restaurant, the excellent rooms and the top location. But that was Shorditch. Now Holborn. Because it can be even more fun there: the same great prices (it's still London) but things became even nicer. You sleep in rooms from small (showbox) through 'normal' (snuff) and slightly more luxurious (cozy) to the largest of the bunch - roomy. But Shoebox does the trick, real. No bed? No problem: the highlight of The Hoxton is Hubbard & Bell, the lobby restaurant, or even better, highlight number two and one step lower: The Chickenshop, a, indeed, chicken restaurant. Trendy? Yes. Cool? Yes. To go? Yes. Oh and the neighborhood? It may sound new and far away, but nothing could be further from the truth: Holborn is a district in the very heart of the city, close to Soho. Hoxton Holborn.
Update: Hoxton Amsterdam is coming! Stay tuned...
