TUVE Hotel, Hong Kong
Tuve is a lake somewhere in Scandinavia. AND the inspiration for the design of this new hotel in the middle of Causeway Bay in the giant city of Hong Kong. If you think 'Scandinavian, we know that now...', at TUVE they transcend the mainstream and add a raw edge - think concrete, iron, lots of marble and raw steel - for a twice as stylish and striking whole.
Why you want to stay here - in addition to the more than Instagram-worthy design - is as follows: unusually spacious rooms by Hong Kong standards, a wonderful bed, the largest shower cabin with rain shower we have ever seen, a minibar full of specials and bags with slow drip filter coffee to start your day in peace. The soothing classical music in the elevator, excellent service and an atmosphere that can be described as the perfect balance between urban and high class. Last but not least you have a breathtaking view from the top floors, which is nice when you open the curtains in the morning.
One more plus point: you don't have to look far for a good lunch or dinner spot. In the adjacent restaurant SILVER ROOM, again with a stylish interior, they serve the tastiest Italian dishes. Tuve
