It was already known as the ideal place to spend the night in luxury and enjoy a culinary meal, but with 750 hectares of nationally listed estate, it is Groot Warnsborn estate also the place to be to celebrate your wedding. But we want to keep a wedding intimate, right? See, that's why we love this place so much, because they have here best of both worlds. With the stately country house, the adjacent coach house and the orangery, all options for the big day are within reach. The centuries-old trees, romantic bridges and babbling brooks provide that romantic, intimate atmosphere.
Getting married in a museum isn't that crazy (and is possible in more museums than you might think), but... Museum 't Kromhout in Amsterdam East is just so, well, so cool. In an old sheep building yard and therefore industrial, with a raw edge, nothing slick and all the space to dress up your day and celebrate it the way you want. 't Kromhout is located on the water and in a kind of semi-industrial area and that really gives it a very unique atmosphere. You can also moor here by boat (via the Nieuwe Vaart) and we also think that is such a cool way to arrive at your own wedding (or sail away).
You may need a little imagination to see it in your mind, but believe us: with so much space and in such a great location, you can make it your own.
You will find it hidden between the trees there in Drenthe Château hotel and Restaurant De Havixhorst. You think of a château viva La France, wine, food, castles and lots of greenery. Before joy of living and you don't have to cross the border to get that idyllic backdrop for your wedding, as long as you celebrate your day at De Havixhorst. A truly authentic château with graceful iron curling gates, high windows, robust and white decorated pillars that form the entrance to an oasis of greenery. The courtyard with sculpture garden, winding strings of lights and tall trees picture-perfect. The only thing it's missing is you as a newlywed couple and all the friends and family to celebrate you.

The best place to say yes to your prince on a white horse who fits perfectly into the fairytale picture? That's right, a castle. And preferably one where you, your prince and the guests can spend the night. It is possible at the Bilderberg Hotels in Limburg. Château Holtmühle is located in Tegelen, near the Castle Gardens of Arcen (hello photo location) and Designer Outlet Roermond (last minute shopping). Vaalsbroek Castle is located a bit further south, on an estate of no less than 18 hectares between the hills of Vaals. This hotel is even easily accessible by public transport, the bus that leaves from Maastricht station stops in front of the door. Both castles have more than enough rooms, so no one has to rush to catch the last bus. And if it all becomes a bit too cliché for you, just go for a wedding pie instead of a wedding cake. At least as tasty.
