Valà is a favorite for breakfast, especially to start with, because you can sit there all day. The vegetarian (often vegan even) Valà opened near Porta Genova in a small corner building that was decorated with retro furniture and painted in mainly pastel shades, flowers and plants everywhere and mismatched crockery on the tables. Everything from soy cappuccino to soup and from couscous to artichoke salad comes on and in that tableware. O! and also remarkably (especially for Milan) affordable. Vala
