Cocktail bar Vesper has been circled in my book for some time now, but, as it turns out, not yet in this 'book'! Oops. The small dark place on a corner in Amsterdam West, in a side street of the Haarlemmerdijk, is one of the best places for a (Saturday afternoon) cocktail. Or for a stylish bachelor party. The bartenders here are un-Amsterdam friendly and they shake a fantastic cocktail, taking your taste into account. Vespers bar
