The tastiest outdoor places for a perfect walk in the Netherlands and your best dose of take-out coffee
Walking is one of the most underrated ways of exercising, while it is so good for you. And let's be honest: it's also a lot better than sweating like crazy, right? Head into the wind, put on good shoes and let's go. Where? The choice is enormous throughout the Netherlands. Start at these places for a wonderful walk.
Nature spot: Veluwezoom National Park (Beekhuizen)
To-go coffee at: Woodz Beekhuizen
The Veluwezoom National Park is recommended for hiking enthusiasts, the area is more than 5100 hectares of forest, heathland, sand drifts and estates. If you are lucky you might even encounter Scottish highlanders, wild boars and red deer. And then after a brisk walk on to Woodz for the tastiest coffee to go with something tasty of course. Or if you're hungry, have lunch.
Country estate Beekhuizen is definitely recommended. It is a small scale glamping-only holiday park. You can spend the night there all year round in one of the spacious ones Lodge tents of Pods, all with private sanitary facilities.
A walk on the beach of Wijk aan Zee. Get some fresh air and then pass by Aloha. A huge one in the summer favorite but it is also delicious in winter. A walking route has been created inside so you don't have to wait in the cold. Order delicious coffee here and of course the apple pie, because this is not normally good.
At Outside in the Pit you get really good coffee. To be honest, Buiten in de Kuil is one of the nicest places where everything is perfectly arranged that we have seen in a long time. Go! But not on the weekend. Way too busy dude.
Spanderswoud Estate in 's Graveland

Wonderful nature reserve and even more delicious coffee spot. The tastiest take-away in nature, that's for sure. Cakes, coffee, savory sandwiches… You name it Tasting room de Serre they have it.
Then take a nice walk in a beautiful area - perfect for the novice or just lazy walker (it is a relatively small area).
Nature spot: The Kruisberg forests

Want to take a walk in a beautiful, wooded area? The Achterhoek it is! In the Kruisberg forests you can enjoy wonderful walks (even 9 kilometers long!) between the coniferous and deciduous forests. After such a hike you deserve something nice, right? Lucky you! Located in the middle of the park The Coat of Arms of Heeckeren, where you can enjoy lunch, drinks and dinner.

Hours of entertainment guaranteed Park Velserbeek. This large park has several walking paths that lead you through the park (without getting lost), a playground and a petting zoo. Here you can spot pigs, peacocks and fallow deer. The park also has a tearoom located in a former orangery in Velserbeek. Bee Tearoom you can get a nice coffee to-go, or warm up inside with a cup of coffee and something tasty.
Nature Spot: Castle Gardens Arcen (Limburg)

When in Limburg, then assure yourself that this walk along the Arcen Castle Gardens located in the picturesque village of Arcen in North Limburg. You can spend hours strolling through the castle gardens and enjoying one of the most versatile flower and plant parks in Europe. A hot chocolate in a unique pavilion to warm up and let's move on! The pedometer reaches 10.000 steps automatically. Plus: there is a hotel! Park Hotel Horst. you don't have to think about that anymore.
