The tips for shopping in Bruges

Bruges is one of the nicest cities for a weekend trip (not too far). A cozy city rich in culture, cozy coffee bars, tasty restaurants and nice hotels and b&b's. If you like to shop during a city trip, you can shop for hours in Bruges. In addition to countless chocolate shops, you will also find many antiques, interior design and clothing. On to a weekend of fun in Bruges.

What kind of things are falling? to do and see in Bruges? And where are you going to sleep? There is plenty to see and experience.

Noordzandstraat

Noordzandstraat

Because Bruges is a historic city with highlights spread throughout the city, the shopping streets are somewhat confused. The Noordzandstraat is the shopping street with the nicer, more affordable shops such as COS, Les Soeurs, Bellerose and Love Stories. Sint-Jakobsstraat and Ezelstraat have nice boutiques, antique shops and the Krokodil toy store if you are with kids.

Do you want to avoid the most commercial street with shops like H&M and Vero Moda? Then stay away from Steenstraat and Zuidzandstraat. It's best to miss that one.

Boutique Ruth

Boutique Ruth

You will receive a friendly welcome at Boetiek Ruth. In a beautiful historic building - near the Donkey Bridge - you will find brands such as Pomandère, Humanoid, Sessun, Samsoe, Bellerose and By Bar spread over two floors. A women's store with an extensive collection of clothing, shoes and accessories. It may just be that you have... a whole new suit comes out at Boutique Ruth.

Frederiek van Pamel

Frederiek van Pamel

From the Ezelbrug you walk into the Ezelstraat and there you will find Frederiek van Pamel. Walk through this store - with several rooms, a beautiful conservatory and large fireplaces a life-size interior design magazine. Frederiek is originally a florist, but his domain is a collection of beautiful interior brands, colors and scents. Of course Frederiek is an interior designer, but that is difficult to take with you as a souvenir. But the luxurious candles, wool blankets, colorful pillows, vases and - when the time comes - the Christmas collection are a very nice souvenir of a nice weekend in Bruges.

Oh yes, you can also stay the night at b&b Maison Fred.

Jūttu

Jūttu

If you are in Belgium often, you may know this one. Jūttu is a concept store that can be found in several Belgian cities. With clothing for her and him with Belgian and sustainable brands such as Armedangels and Sessùn. But also clean skincare such as Cîme and a lot of interior design from HK Living, Anna+Nina, &Klevering and Madam Stoltz. And many independent marks that are new to us. You will find Jūttu in a spacious store in Noordzandstraat.
