The world is your oyster, it may sound cliché, but it is true. You can start all over again. A fresh start it is. You meet new people and they have no idea who you are. Hello the best version of yourself. In the beginning it is always a bit of an experiment and you have to build new friendships and yes, those people just don't have that many expectations from you. Nothing none boring your niece's party or something like that babyshower. Only things that you feel like doing.
In the Netherlands you already have enough friends around you and you are secretly busy enough with that. How nice it is to meet new people abroad. Looking for similar ones, ha. And you really don't have to make great friends right away, but one thing is certain: building a new life abroad involves new people around you and that is just fun and educational.
Here in The Netherlands you always overhear conversations from people around you, logically. You subconsciously listen to conversations and receive a lot of information. If you are in a country where they do not speak your native language, it is better to (unconsciously) turn this off. Even if you speak the language. You can isolate yourself and focus more on yourself.

Usually when you emigrate, it is to a country where the weather is better.
