Hasselt? Hasselt? What's there again? One of the nicest museums in the Low Countries! The Fashion Museum. You could almost say that the town's right to exist depends on that museum. Up and down is usually the way, although this may change with the arrival of the new YUP Hotel. The hotel opened in mid-2015 and is unconventional, cleverly responding to the fashion crowd who visit the museum in that city. The hotel is part of the Different Hotels Group and this also applies to YUP: the hotel is slightly different. Artful. Modern. Comfortable. A bit distant at times, a bit too tight too, but still... too fun to skip. It is located in the old (beautiful!) center of the city and there is no bar or restaurant but a 'Grab & Go' station with snacks and drinks. Do it yourself so, which also applies to the self-service music station with music from Club versuz, 10 minutes away (by car). YUP
