And... On to Amersfoort where it turns out to be surprisingly fun every time. Really and truly. But we, and the residents of the cozy Amersfoort South Fortunately, there was still a spot missing... In addition to greenery, nice shops and everything practical, there was still an address missing that could really bring the residents together. A cozy living room where you can work, have drinks, have lunch and simply see each other and catch up. And there was also a need for a place where you could buy nice gifts or treat yourself to something beautiful... You guessed it: it all came together at that beautiful corner spot on Van Campenstraat (anyone who knows Amersfoort knows it). well). South is the name his. And you can be at Zuid.
South is light and spacious, it is a large light paradise in the middle of a green environment. When you walk in you have the idea in one hippie shack to walk around as you only know it from the beach. Coarse wooden floors with bohemian style lamps and decoration. No more, no less. Relaxed and cozy. And not on the beach at all. Ha!
At Zuid you walk straight from the restaurant into the shop, so everything flows nicely together. There is also a gigantic garden where you can relax in a lovely seating area with a drink or snack. All bites on the menu are home-made – they also know this at Zuid. In addition to a delicious lunch and drinks menu, workshops are also regularly given. For example, craft activities are arranged for the youngsters and some musical entertainment is also regularly provided to entertain the guests.
