5 times not to be missed in Den Bosch
Ah, the city of Sweet Lieve Gerritje! We would love to come there. It is Brabant Amsterdam, and as soon as Oeteldonk gets its all-year-long face back and the streamers and balloons are put away, the city will still be as vibrant and pleasant as ever. An update with the best of Den Bosch for a long and (more than) fun weekend away (or at home: these tips are also nice for locals, I promise).

A fairly new one and one of the nicest and tastiest in Den Bosch comes from what we already love Wine at Stijn: The Fishwife. It should come as no surprise what you are presented with here… Right. The fresh fish are chilled on ice in the fish market for your choosing, the staff is looking forward to it (and how!) and the wines are something to write home about. That's what we are from Het Viswijf.
This was already a wonderful list with the best of Den Bosch, but could receive an update, of which note. Don't forget to include it: Barts Best of Den Bosch
Even more holiday feeling in Den Bosch? On to Hello my Friend! Also a youngster in town and fun from breakfast to drinks (street food and cocktails). The menu includes things like tacos, ramen noodles, American pancakes, cheeseburger dumplings and an 'ordinary' but very good satay ajam. Vega? Fine! About a quarter of the dishes are vegetarian.
A colorful classic in the Korte Putstraat, already the nicest street in the city. Nothing hip, but always good and cozy, and that is exactly what we find important during an uncomplicated city trip. You sit down for world dishes. Dishes from all over the world that is. You can start your afternoon or evening off right with the mezzes from different countries. There's a good chance you'll be satisfied afterwards: the perfect spot for an afternoon with friends if you ask us.
Good idea, and don't miss the ever-sweet TumTum. Read more
