In a small side street of the main market Den Bosch you will find a sweet old Dutch candy shop: TumTum Den Bosch. And that is exactly the kind of shop that an old Dutch sweet shop should be: packed with sweets and that's it.

The concept of TumTum Den Bosch is simple: you come in, pick up a cozy bowl that reminds you of grandma's crockery, grab some tongs and start shoveling. Child can do the laundry. There is actually only one problem: all pots are beckoning, and not just the children's hands/stomachs/fingers.

Great tip if you're spending a day in the city of Bossche Bollen but don't feel like having that big (really heavy puff) (and: you know you have to go to Jan de Groot for the one and only Bosche Bol, right?). And it is the tip for if you have kids that you need to keep busy on such a day out.
