Suppose you only have 24 hours in Groningen? Then at least plan a beer at De Graansilo Groningen!
The Graansilo Groningen has been brewing its own beer since 2018. The result: fine specialty beers and a number of highly recommended beer cocktails. So far so good but after a complete renovation, the Graansilo restaurant was added this year. And that's a party for me!
Apart from a small drinks menu, there is no menu. You read that correctly: no menu. A 2-course menu is served for lunch and a 4-course menu for dinner.
The reason they don't have a menu is because at De Graansilo they believe that flavors are positively influenced if you are surprised. Okay, that's good. And besides, it's also quite nice not to have the stress of choosing for once. Or were we surprised? Yes, and how! Two words for the dishes: works of art and flavor explosion.
