The most beautiful accommodations in Avoriaz and Morzine in the Haute Savoie (France)
How we would love a house in the mountains. Such a fairytale chalet where you can sit by the fireplace in the winter after skiing and where you can drink a cocktail on the terrace after a walk in the summer. If we could make a suggestion for the location of our dream home, it would be Avoriaz en Morzine being in the Haute Savoie. Morzine is such a traditional French mountain village (wooden chalets and so cozy). Avoriaz is truly a winter sports paradise, in the middle of Les Portes du Soleil. They both stand for sustainability.
But okay, your own accommodation remains a dream. Fortunately, there are plenty of accommodations where you can pretend it's your place for a holiday. These are the most beautiful accommodations in Avoriaz and Morzine in Haute Savoie (France).

Oh, views are everything in the winter sports areas. Such a shame if your window looks out onto another building... Not the case Chalet Alpaga in Morzine. All rooms in the chalet have a view of the mountain peaks. An accommodation for 12 people, at least if you only book Alpaga 1, if you add Alpaga 2, no fewer than 24 guests can stay in it. best of all: the hot tub and sauna (outdoor). The dream place for the family, right? Or of course with your friends. Open from December 2022.

Another case right on the slopes hotel des Dromonts in Avoriaz. Ski-in, ski-out it is. Old building, yes, dates from 1964 to be precise. But with a mega renovation. What was left are not the largest hotel rooms, but pinky promise that you won't need that hotel room much. Once again a beautiful interior; wellness and good restaurant provide the necessary entertainment.
Spa first, at L'Amara. This residence is located at the foot of a cliff and that is, yes, good for a view that we wait for all year round. The residence is built on the south, good for natural light. Typical case of a cozy chalet, but with the comfort of a good hotel.
So it is partly due to that spa, the Deep Nature® Spa. With an outdoor hot tub, indoor swimming pool, sauna and hammam. We almost forget about fitness (although we prefer to be on the slopes).
