Into the Italian snow & then warm up at Nature Hotel Lüsnerhof in South Tyrol
Ooooh winter has officially arrived. That means dark days, cold temperatures and snow and ice fun. At least we hope for the latter every year, but (unfortunately!) it is not a given that our cold country will really be covered by a layer of snow. Don't worry: we can enjoy the winter cold - with snow. Do you want to know where to go? In South Tyrol. Here you can ski and hiking in the snow. And sleep? You do that Nature hotel Lüsnerhof. Trust us: here you want to roll into bed, dive into the spa and drink lots of hot chocolate or mulled wine.

This hotel is also close to one of the nicest places we have ever been with the kids: Family hotel Sonnwies.
Somewhere in the mountains, hidden between forests and meadows, you will find Nature hotel Lüsnerhof. Upon arrival you would think you have ended up in a winter fairytale. This beautiful chalet slash hotel is located close to the valley of the idyllic village of Lüsen, where you have a great (panoramic) view. It's quiet here. Calm. Serene. Calm. No mass tourism or ski lifts. We hear you thinking, are you good for winter sports there? Of course! The Italian Dolomites (that's the name of the area where this hotel is located) is the perfect place for beginners. On the slope of the hotel you will find a beginners area. Are you a pro now? Then you can take the ski bus to the nearby Plose ski area. Plose is known for its perfectly prepared slopes, unique views and minimal crowds.
After a long day in the mountains there is only one thing you long for: warmth. And for that you only need a moment Nature hotel Lüsnerhof to walk in. Or better said, to curl up in one of the rooms, suites or apartments. Each room is dedicated to the four elements: earth, water, air and fire. You see many natural materials in the design. Think of wood and stone, but also marble accessories and organically made mattresses. In about seventeen rooms you even have your own wood fire and jacuzzi. Couldn't get such a room? No worries. The hotel has a Naturellness Spa with three (!) rooms, where you can relax during a massage or sauna visit, but also go for a swim.
In addition to these (de)luxe rooms, there are (very nice!) family rooms and suites, where four of you can stay overnight. You get a fresh breakfast every morning eggs, waffles, sandwiches, jam, cheese, fruit and juice. In the evening you can enjoy a five-course dinner. Don't want to be dependent on the food in the hotel? We get it. Then choose an apartment with a kitchenette. Whatever you choose, all rooms are attractive and perfect for one well deserved break in the Italian mountains. Oh yes, the Lüsnerhof is great for taking kids. There is a children's/playroom (hello climbing wall and table football), mini cinema and outdoor space to romp.
