Amore: a nice terrace in Rotterdam for a snack and drink
Love is a hotspot on Tiendplein diagonally opposite our beloved restaurant Marseille. Before we visit a tent, we always go to the Instagram page. We must honestly admit that we find Amore's Instagram page somewhat abstract, but it did pique our interest enough to sit on the terrace for a drink.

Multicultural conviviality on the West-Kruiskade. We love it. A mix of people and restaurants. Always very busy, because somehow everyone always comes to the Kruiskade by car. This means that you always reach your final location by slaloming around all the double-parked cars. We digress... the Kruiskade is in any case a nice melting pot of nice places and all kinds of different cultures. And that is exactly the place where you will find Amore. A summer evening and a drink on the terrace is a golden combination for us. And Amore did not disappoint.
Super friendly staff who are happy to tell you about the menu (whether it concerns a snack or drink). Many groups of friends visited each other and got involved in the best conversations. It is the hangout place for many people.
We find it difficult to determine whether we should classify Amore as a restaurant or bar, but you can certainly go there for both a snack and a drink. The food options are limited, but that of course says nothing about the quality. You can order tasty snacks to share and be sure to order the bread with fluffy lemon butter. In any case, butter makes life even more fun, but this variant is really heavenly. They also have a number of tasty main courses on the menu.
The drinks menu, on the other hand, is not limited. From a wide range of natural wines to cocktails and sake. There is probably something on the menu that will make you happy. Judging from the terrace, the Espresso Martini and Sgroppino make a lot of people happy, so let that be a guideline for what you will order.
